Day 1: Canada - Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

Flight with a good itinerary.


Day 2: Dubai

Arrival at the airport in Dubai and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.


Day 3: Dubai

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a half-day tour of Dubai. Once a small fishing village on the Dubai Creek, today the city is a glamorous metropolis of the Arabian Gulf. Starting at the Atlantis hotel located at the crescent of Palm Jumeirah, you will stop at the Burj Al Arab hotel for photos before seeing the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. Built in medieval Fatimid style, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. You will then proceed to Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai, where you will visit the Dubai Museum located in the ancient fortress of Al Fahidi. Using local water taxis called Abras to cross Dubai Creek, enjoy spectacular views of the city while heading towards the district of Deira. Here, you will be enchanted by the large variety of exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. Take the opportunity to get a unique souvenir while visiting the adjacent Gold Souk.You will end your visit at the Dubai Mall around 1PM. Rest of the day to discover Dubai at your own pace.


Day 4: Dubai (Boarding)

Transfer to the port of Dubai to board the Norwegian Spirit cruise ship.

Day 7: Mumbai (India)

Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is a feast for the senses. The intricate, tranquil Shree Siddhivinayak temple draws the faithful and the merely curious alike. The Mount Mary Church, the Hanging Gardens and the Gandhi Memorial Museum are popular sites. The colonial-era Victoria Station, one of Mumbai's grand buildings, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also a place to grab a bite. But don't look for the name Victoria Station - it is officially called Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, or CST for short.

Day 8: Goa (Mormugao, India)

With a uniquely singular style among Indian cities, this marvellous old Portuguese and Hindu city studded with vibrant temples and majestic churches is a meld of cultures. Goa boasts a stunning Baroque cathedral completed in 1619, the Sé Catedral. Portuguese rule over Goa lasted 450 years, and its legacy remains strong in quaint, colourful Panjim. Sun worshipers will want to head to one of the area's exquisite beaches. The local Goan cuisine, a hybrid of colonial and local flavours, is a highlight.

Day 9: Mangalore (India)

Located on the southwestern coast of India, Mangalore is a city of many temples: The Kadri Manjunath and Kudroli Gokarnath temples are top destinations. If the beach calls you, Surathkal and Tannirbavi both stand out. Back in town, see a traditional south Indian dance performance or perhaps encounter a festival honouring a local deity. Culinary daredevils will relish the fiery meat and seafood curries, then cool off your tongue with local ice cream at the Ideals parlour - Gadbad is a favourite.

Day 10: Cochin (India)

This cosmopolitan, Portuguese-founded city is an unlikely blend of lovely colonial architecture, Dutch-style palaces, ancient mosques, a 400-year-old synagogue, giant Chinese fishing nets and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. Its rural canals are lined with ancient villages, paddy fields, market places and temples. Sample the varied and spicy dishes of Kerala and take home some Indian cotton goods made in traditional fashion.

Day 11: Colombo (Sri Lanka)

Sri Lanka's capital offers a wildly contrasting mix of beautiful mansions, gardens and boutiques and wonderfully frenetic roads and street markets. Explore the museums and temples or head to Galle Face Green for a cricket match. If the pace of the city becomes too much, enjoy high tea overlooking the Indian Ocean. Check off your entire gift list with a visit to the Pettah bazaar district for everything imaginable. Just make room in your luggage or find a new suitcase at the bazaar!

Day 12 to 13: At sea

While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure.


Day 14: Phuket (Thailand)

Experience the many facets of Phuket, from its gorgeous beaches, to its 19th century Chinese and Western architecture and stunning Buddhist temples. Wat Chalong with its lovely pagoda, and Wat Phra Thong, revered for its huge golden Buddha statue, are must-sees. Explore the breathtaking Phang Nga National Park, made famous by the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. If it is shopping you seek, bright silks, teak carvings and trinkets will satisfy many a shopping list.

Day 15: Langkawi (Malaysia)

Langkawi's appeal extends from sea level to its hilly interior. Kilim Karst Geoforest Park with its boat tour of mangrove forests, bat caves and floating restaurants, is a leading attraction. Adrenaline seekers can take a walk 2,300 feet above sea level on the Langkawi Sky Bridge and enjoy the amazing view of the surrounding rain forests and nearby islands. If sea level is more your level, relaxing on Cenang Beach or some duty-free shopping in Kuah Town may be just your thing.

Day 16: Penang (Malaysia)

Known as "The Pearl of the Orient," this island's rainforest and waterfall-clad mountains form the backdrop to its beautiful, sandy beaches. The capital's George Town Historic District, a wonderful mix of elaborate colonial homes, Chinese heritage buildings and temples, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sprawling Kek Lok Si Temple, with a 100-foot pagoda and gardens, overlooks George Town, and is a great spot for photos. Penang's abundant street eats will tempt foodies.

Day 17: Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang, Malaysia)

The diverse capital of Malaysia blends colonial, Islamic and modern architecture, from the soaring Petronas Towers to the beautiful Masjid Jamek, once Kuala Lumpur's main mosque. Get a bird's eye view of the city from the open-air observation deck of the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the highest point in the city open to the public. Head to the air-conditioned Central Market to browse its stalls and shops for all kinds of souvenirs, with no bargaining necessary.

How much of a deposit is required?

You need to make a 50% deposit upon reservation to secure your seats. If your departure is in less than 125 days, the full amount is due when booking.

When is the balance due?

The balance is due 125 days prior to the departure date.

What is the group size?

The beauty of this amazing package is that it is completely hassle free for you: all flights, transfers, hotels with breakfasts and of course the cruise are taken care of. You will be in a group only during the included city tour in Dubai. During the cruise, you are free to enjoy your vacation whichever way you prefer: relax and enjoy the ship amenities, book a tour or explore on your own each port of call. 

Is it a guaranteed departure?

Are single or triple occupancy available?

Yes, they are available upon request. Price and availability must be confirmed by your agent.

Will there be someone waiting for us at the airport?

Yes, our local operators will welcome you at the gate holding a sign with your name on it. You will be transfered to the hotel.

Is it possible to book additional tours?

Yes, you can book excursions directly with Norwegian Cruise Line. You may book them in advance or directly on board. Alternatively, you may book tours on your own with local operators.

Are the hotels far from the city?

The hotels are centrally located which means that whether you walk or use local transportation, you will be able to reach the city easily.

Are gratuities for the cruise included?

The service charge of $15.50 USD / day / person is not included in your price. You may pay it directly on board as you check out.

What is the average cost of a meal?

All your breakfasts are included at the hotels. In Dubai, the average cost is $25 CAD / $18 USD, it could be less if you eat light (like a sandwich or a salad).  From fast food restaurants to gourmet dinings, Dubaï has a wide choice of options to eat. In Singapour the street foods stands provide a great and affordable choice of meals. In both cities, sit-down restaurants usually have higher prices.

Is it possible to add extra nights?

Yes, you may add extra nights to your package in Dubai and Singapore. Simply make the request with your reservation agent who will change your flights accordingly. We can include the same hotels or you may stay under your own arrangements. The price will be confirmed by your agent depending on availability.

Do I need a visa for this cruise?

Yes, 2 visas are required for this cruise.

India (an Embassy-issued visa sticker or an electronic visa): The visa can be an embassy-issued visa sticker or an electronic visa. Both types of visas must be obtained in advance, prior to the beginning of the cruise. Guests without the Indian visa must remain onboard in Indian ports. Sri Lanka (obtained online): All passengers are required to obtain an electronic ETA visa prior to arrival to Sri Lanka. This visa is free of charge and must be obtained online at least 48 hours in advance. Anyone who does not obtain the ETA visa in advance must remain onboard in Sri Lankan ports.
