My experience with Wingbuddy was amazing. It was very well organized. The hotels were great. I must mentioned the hotel in Muscat was exceptional, the staff went over nd above to make our stay perfect. Abdul, our guide while we were in Oman, was the best. He provided us with cold water and listened to our suggestions when we needed a break from the travelling. He was the best guide that I have ever had, and I have travelled a lot. Our Dubai Oman tour was excellent and more value-packed than we expected. Almost every day was filled with quality guided tours, attractions and meals. The hotels were high quality and flights all went well. The tour has positively changed our view on those countries, and how they’ve preserved history, as well as invested/shared incredible oil wealth for future generations.  We found the area to be safe, friendly and very modern. Take the opportunity to see for yourself, as it’s worth the trip. English is used widely, and other languages are well provided for.... Read More

DUBAI & OMAN

11 NIGHTS / 13 DAYS

Day 1: Canada - Dubai (UAE)
Flight with a good itinerary.

Day 2: Dubai
Arrival at the airport in Dubai. You will be greeted by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel for your first night.

Day 3: Dubai
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a tour of Dubai. Once a small fishing village on the Dubai Creek, today the city is a glamorous metropolis of the Persian Gulf. Starting at the Atlantis hotel located at the crescent of Palm Jumeirah, you will stop at the Burj Al Arab hotel for photos before seeing the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. Built in medieval Fatimid style, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. You will then proceed to Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai, where you will pass by Al Shindagha Museum. Using local water taxis called Abras to cross Dubai Creek, enjoy spectacular views of the city while heading towards the district of Deira. Here, you will be enchanted by the large variety of exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. Take the chance to get a unique souvenir while visiting the adjacent Gold Souk. In the afternoon after lunch, you will join a desert safari. Driving through the desert of golden sand dunes, you will reach the main campsite where you will get the chance to experience a complimentary camel ride. After witnessing a memorable, true Arabian sunset with its glory and magic, a delicious barbecue dinner will be prepared on open fires to the sound of an orchestra, soon joined by a traditional dancer. Overnight in Dubai. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 4: Dubai - Abu Dhabi
Following breakfast, departure toward Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. You will start at the famous Yas Island which houses the Formula 1 circuit and the first Ferrari theme park in the world. Continuation to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, completely cladded in marble and featuring intricate Islamic decorations and carvings as well as extensive landscaping. Then, you will drive toward downtown Abu Dhabi for lunch. Driving along the Corniche, past gleaming white mosques, and elegant high-rise apartments, you will reach the famous Saadiyat Island project. We will also pass by the famous site of Abrahamic Family House. In the late afternoon, you will visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi, an art and civilization museum located in Saadiyat Island Cultural District. Dinner and overnight in Abu Dhabi. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 5: Abu Dhabi - Al Ain
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will continue to Al Ain, one of the oldest cities in the UAE, located at the foot of the Hajjar Mountains. For thousands of years, the oasis of Al Ain has been an important caravan stop on the ancient trade routes across Arabia. You will drive to Jebel Hafeet for a photo stop before having lunch in the city. In the afternoon, you will see the largest camel market in the country before visiting Jahili fort, one of the largest castles in Al Ain and an example of the Islamic military architecture. Then, you will visit Al Ain Palace, a direct testimony to the reign of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his original residence. This Palace is also the birthplace of HH Sheikh Mohamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. Finally, you will proceed to visit Qasr Al Muwaiji, where you will learn everything about the history of this region. At the end of the afternoon, you will check in your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Al Ain. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 6:  Al Ain - Sharjah - Dubai
Following breakfast, you will reach Sharjah, the pearl of the Gulf, for a half day tour. You will pass by King Faisal Mosque and the Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family, before visiting the Sharjah Heritage Museum which conserves and displays the rich traditional customs and culture of Sharjah as a source of pride and inspiration to Emiratis and the visitors to the UAE. After the visit, you will have time to explore the colorful Souk Al Arsa. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant where you will discover the Bedouin meal named Mandi, a succulent recipe of meats or fish cooked with marvelous spices from this part of the world. Continuation to Dubai with a stop at Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower. Free time to explore the immensity of Dubai Mall between first-class stores, places of relaxation and entertainment, sports activities, jewelry souk and a gigantic aquarium. A climb to Burj Khalifa will be offered as an option. Dinner and overnight in Dubai. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 7: Dubai - Musandam - Dubai
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Musandam, the northernmost province of the Sultanate of Oman (passport required to cross the border), for a wonderful day cruise on a traditional dhow. Wander to a spot near the waters of the Gulf of Oman and let this boat ride be your gateway to the natural treasures of the gulf. Musandam has one of the most peaceful, isolated, and beautiful coastlines in the world, where the towering Hajar Mountains rise directly from the waves, providing an awe-inspiring backdrop for caves, bays, and pebble beaches along the coast. Marine life in the Gulf of Oman is rich in diversity with fish, corals, and invertebrates. A dhow trip into the Fjords of Musandam offers an insight into this fantastic landscape and guarantees an ambiance of peace and tranquility, as you bond with nature and explore the wonders of the sea. If you are lucky, you might even spot Dolphins along the cruise as you enjoy lunch on board. The traditional type of dhows is equipped with comfortable seats, cushions, and carpets. Additionally, enjoy snorkeling and swimming, as well as see Oman’s typical limestone houses from the comfort of your boat. Overnight in Dubai. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 8: Dubai - Sohar - Muscat
After lunch, you will begin your journey to Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. You will pass through Hatta, a popular vacation destination to escape the heat of Dubai. Its authentic Arab "heritage village," including two 18th-century military towers and an ancient Juma mosque, is worth a visit. Then, lunch en route to Sohar, followed by an orientation tour of the city, the third-largest in the country. You will make a stop at the Sohar Mosque, a true architectural feat, before continuing to Muscat, which you will reach by the end of the day. Check-in at the hotel and dinner. Overnight in Muscat. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 9: Muscat
Breakfast at your hotel before starting your full-day tour of Muscat. Driving through the beautiful embassy quarter, you will reach Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a contemporary place of worship serving as a spiritual landmark for modern Oman. You will then head to the impressive Opera house, an example of contemporary Omani architecture, before lunch at a typical seafood restaurant. After lunch, you will proceed to Bait Al Zubair Museum in Old Muscat, a house part of Muscat heritage founded in 1914 and opened as a museum in 1998. Its carved doors open into a fortress style reception. Driving through the beautiful corniche, you will stop at Muttrah to explore the colorful historic souk. This is a real souk with winding alleys, backstreets and stalls selling all manner of textiles, jewelry, traditional Omani perfumes such as bukhoor, which is made of frankincense, souvenirs, and antiques. You will dine at a traditional Omani restaurant, where you will experience how Omani’s eat and taste their cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere. Overnight in Muscat. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 10: Muscat - Sur - Wahiba Sands
After breakfast, you will depart for a great adventure. Driving through one of the most thrilling sections of Oman's coastline, you will first stop at Bimmah Sinkhole, a part of a collapsed mountain filled with sea water. Continuation to Wadi Shab, a popular destination among hikers, where you will admire its turquoise water and impressive rock formation before lunch. Then, you will reach Sur, a sea-faring town, and a trading port where traditional dhows have been built for centuries at the edge of the bay. After a quick tour of Sur, you will continue the coastal road, passing through high cliffs and small fishing villages. Upon arrival at Wahiba Sands, one of the most fascinating and mysterious regions of Oman, you will board 4x4 vehicles and start your adventure in the desert, through shifting dunes that support an astonishing variety of wildlife and host different kinds of flora and fauna. Wahiba is also home to a few thousand Bedouins, who are known to have inhabited this inhospitable region for at least 7000 years. Dinner in the camp with a real desert atmosphere and overnight at Wahiba Sands camp. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 11: Wahiba Sands - Nizwa

You will be able to walk in the wadi to investigate the surrounding area on foot. Continuation to Nizwa with a stop on the way for lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Nizwa, where your guide will give an orientation tour of the city. This ancient capital of Oman is famous for its huge 17th century fort built on a scold base of rock, its jewelry souk, and its interesting cattle auction which takes place on every Friday. You will visit the souk and walk through the winding streets of the old town. Check in and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Nizwa. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
